Mindy Sonshine has worked hard to become one of the best and most well known wedding photographers in San Diego. Her photojournalistic approach to wedding photography combined with her contemporary wedding and engagement portraits have caught the attention of brides and grooms throughout the country. She travels throughout San Diego County and Orange County with no additional fee, and loves to photograph weddings at weddings at such venues as the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, the Rancho Santa Fe Garden Club, La Valencia, the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, The Prado at Balboa Park, the Lodge at Torrey Pines, the Hilton Torrey Pines, the Darlington House, Orfila Vineyards and many more. You may also see her photographic high end weddings at the Four Seasons Aviara, The Abbey, L'Auberge Del Mar, Rancho Valencia, The El Cortez Ballroom, U.S. Grant Hotel, La Jolla Womans Club, Hotel Del Coronado, the Westgate, Coronado Marriott, La Costa Resort, Loews Coronado, The Bristol, the Hyatt Aventine, Paradise Point, and Amy Strong Castle. Mindy also loves traveling both domestically and internationally, and has established herself as a destination wedding photographer. She particularly loves traveling to any of the Hawaiian islands, including Maui, Oahu, and Kauai. She met her husband Mike on a trip to Baja Mexico, and thus has a special attachment to Mexican travel, including Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Cancun. Within the continental US, she will travel to New York, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, New Jersey, Boston, Washington D.C., Lake Tahoe, Las Vegas – practically anywhere serviced by an airport! Mindy also has a love for all foreign cultures, and welcomes your inquiries for European wedding photography. She has a working knowledge of the French language, and has spent time in such cities as London, Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens and Istanbul. She would also love to provide her services for a wedding in Italy, including Florence, Venice and Rome. When Mindy is not busy with weddings, she spends her remaining
time photographing families, couples and children. She loves taking
pictures of babies and kids, and has a special connection with them.
